I am in England now.
In Impington. It is a small village next to Cambridge.
It was my first flight alone… I was really excited. My bag had to be searched for explosives! When the officer opened my bag, my stuffed sheep was lieing on the top. I was really amazed when the man tests the sheep for explosives… 😉
I was really happy when I landed. The man beside me thoughts that he owns two seats and I had no space.
When I arrived my host mother and her granddaughter were waiting for me. We drove with a taxi to Impington and ate Pizza! That was great.
The first night was strange. I couldn’t sleep and when I slept at maybe 3 o clock in the morning, I dreamed that I lived in a cupboard under the stairs and every time when J, the granddaughter from my host mother, was gone, I walked in to her big room and only stared at the big bed inside… 🙂
I think my subconscious wants my 1.45 m bed in Cologne back, because my bed in my new room and my room are smaller. But that’s okay! The room is very sweet and I decorate it with many things. It’s petty cool now.
Today we had a little walk though Impington and Histon. We had lunch in a sweet coffeehouse and until now I have already prepared my stuff for tomorrow.
Tomorrow It’s my first day at the school. I am very exciting and please, wish me luck! Because…
- I have to learn by heart a monologue from Shakespeare’s MacBeth…
- present the monologue of MacBeth,
- present an interpretation about the monologue of MacBeth,
- present a monologue I prepared for my own (learned by heart)
- present 6 portraits I took
- and present an interpretation about a photography from lady Clementina Hawarden.
I will tell you more soon.
Yours Lara
thats a church in Histon and the wall beside my new bed. My friends gave me a lot of things I took with me to remember them. Please! I would never forget you guys!
